    As an ambitious teenager, Jim Thorpe had dreams of starting his own lawn service business. He would spend his weekends and summer vacations maintaining his neighbors' and his relatives' lawns. In 1983 came a turning point: he had enough steady business to create a company and hire five of his classmates as his first employees. By 1991, Jimmy T's Lawn Service had become The “J” Boys, Inc., with Jim Thorpe as President. Every year since, it has substantially grown. The “J” Boys, Inc., currently services over 600 residential and commercial properties on a regular basis throughout Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware, offering complete Landscape Maintenance & Construction Services, Turf Management, Hardscaping, Fencing, and Snow & Ice Management Services.
